Matt Nantel

I am the owner of a studio called Notes Productions. Since 2008, I have produced music for the royalty-free music website Premiumbeat.com, where I have sold many thousands of songs around the world. I have produced music for advertising campaigns of all kinds and have also composed children's music for educational books at the primary school level.

Origins

I was born into a muscial family. I started playing music at four years old by taking piano lessons, and I did not stop the lessons until my early twenties. I also studied the violin at primary school and started to play guitar as a teenager. At age twelve, I started to develop my interest for composition, winning first prize in several national composition competitions. I have been writing music ever since...

In Studio

My passion for musical instruments led me to learn to play several different ones; this allows me to work with ease in various musical styles and to arrange songs in an exceptional way. I work in my studio on the north shore of Montreal where I record, experiment and compose music and try to bring my craft to the next level.
